What is day camp?

Camp Descriptions

Thanks for your interest in day camp!!!

Camp Good News is a place where kids can learn to know and love Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord while growing in their relationship with Him–all while having fun in the great outdoors of North Dakota! Camp Good News exists so that young people (Ages 6-12) may learn to know and love the Lord as their Savior and to grow in their relationship with him, while having fun playing and learning about sports and other activities such as drama and arts & crafts.
Each day will feature an opportunity to learn about and practice the featured activity for the week. Instruction in sports will come from Upward Sports and qualified coaches from the area. Special qualified instructors will be provided for the robotics, detective, drama, and arts & crafts camps. Instructors from TNT fitness will be leading the gymnastics camp.

Bible hour will be taught by college & teen students by the Camp Good News Summer Staff. This program trains teens to lead Bible clubs around the Fargo/Moorhead area. General care for the children will be provided by teens and college students who have received Camp Good News training. We maintain a staff/child ratio of 1 to 8 for ages 6-8 and 1 to 10 for ages 9-12.
